Food items that can boost your memory

Do you sometimes feel that you easily forget what you learn? Well, it can be because you aren’t eating right.

“Healthy mind resides in a healthy body”, therefore it is imperative that you eat the right fruits and vegetables to enjoy a good lifestyle. We bring to you six food items that are said to work on the brain and improve memory.



All the ladies in the house keep asking us to eat “Badaam”. It’s time that we start listening to them and eat 5-6 almonds every morning to energise our minds.

Spinach and green vegetables


Remember Popeye the sailor man? How he used to get all that energy after gulping spinach. Well, Spinach and green vegetables are known to reduce the effect of ageing on brain making it work a lot better.



Tomatoes contain lycopene, a very powerful antioxidant which is said to improve mood swings helping in concentration

Chia seeds


Chia seeds are rich in omega 3 fatty acids. They help control blood glucose level and also contain many antioxidants.

Dark Chocolate


Sounds good, right? Dark Chocolates improves mood, can ease pain and are full of antioxidants.



Broccoli is rich in calcium, vitamin C, B vitamins, beta-carotene, iron, fibre, and vitamin K. It is great for your entire body and not just for your brain.
